Those, who are familiar or involved in software development or web site testing, desktop testing, mobile testing, know that an application development process is complex.
Specialists from different countries and cultures may participate in such a process. It is a common situation nowadays when the clients are from one country, the development team resides in another country, and the testers are in the third country.
Manage such multicultural and multilingual team is a challenge. In such a situation the managers should think not only about how to solve technical problems. They must also provide good communication, friendly atmosphere, mutual understanding inside such a mixed team.
Both technical tasks and relationship inside the team are significant for successful release of the product.
Unfortunately, some managers pay little attention to communication and mutual understanding between the project members from different countries and concentrate mostly on the project tasks. As a result, serious conflicts may arise inside the team. The conflicts can be easily avoided if the managers pay due attention to the communication issues.
Experts in manual and automated testing can confirm that communication with the developers and other project parties is essential for quality assurance.
