Like Clockwork: What to Do If There Are No Bugs

Every software testing company occasionally experiences bug-free periods. During such periods, end users do not find more or less critical bugs in the production version of a product.

This means that test strategy was efficient and the product code was well-written. This also means that QA team[1] did an excellent job by effectively conducting functional testing[2], unit testing, security testing, load testing, performance testing[3], etc. It may be surprising, but sometimes software testers may feel uncomfortable and lose their self-esteem during bug-free periods.

How to Maintain Self-Confidence When There Are No Bugs to Report?

If end users don’t detect any bugs in a product, it’s a success, and the whole team should be proud of it.
