At present any mobile application testing, as well as desktop testing and web site testing, is a complex task that has to cover all the aspects of the system under test.

Unfortunately, some aspects may be given inadequate attention or they may be neglected due to little time allocated on manual and automated testing. But missed errors can be serious and lead to the application failure after release.

Among such features of software products is exchanging data. It is known that a lot of mobile and desktop programs require Internet connection for operating. They update, receive and send certain information to outer resources. It is very important to make sure that these processes work properly. Otherwise the software product will give its users wrong or obsolete information or even fail.

Today there are many different smart devices. People can have and simultaneously interact with several of them. A lot of software products have both mobile and desktop versions. For some users it is convenient to perform certain actions on a mobile phone or a tablet, and certain – on a personal computer.

A software testing company advises to find out if the end-users are going to interact with the tested software utilizing 2 devices. If they are, it is necessary to include such scenarios in manual testing of the application.
