How to Maintain Good Relationships with Developers?

At present software testers, as well as software developers, are highly valued at the job market. So, it is a good idea to become a software tester. But it is not an easy task to be good in performing mobile testing, desktop testing and web site testing.

Job of a test engineer has a number of peculiarities. One of them is that testers always bring bad news, inform that there are defects in the software. Nobody likes to receive bad news and, consequently, those, who bring them.

Programmers do their best to design and write software and testers tell them that there are many errors in it. This aspect makes relationships between testers and developers strained.

In order to be professionals, test engineers should not only qualitatively carry out functional testing, user interface testing, performance testing and so on, but build good business relationships with the developers as well. One of the most important aspects of such relationships is properly organized process of information exchange.
