How to Pass ISTQB Exam Successfully?

Though one may successfully carry out web site testing, desktop testing and mobile application testing without any diploma or certificate, some clients and software testing institutions prefer certified test engineers. Among known international certifications is ISTQB.

Not every tester, even with substantial experience in manual or automated testing, can pass the exam well from the first time. The questions and options are sophisticated, they often confuse those, who answer them.

In Order to Get ISTQB Certification One Should:

Thoroughly study the material. This knowledge can be used not only for passing the exam, but for real usability testing, functional testing, user interface testing and so on.
Practice on training papers many times. This helps to get used to questions of that kind and apply the correct logic.
Carefully read every question and its options for several times to make sure everything is clear. The options are very similar; if one tries answering the questions as soon as possible, he or she may overlook important details and choose the wrong answers in a hurry.

One should keep in mind that among the options may be one, several or none correct answer for a question. That is why clear understanding of the questions and variants of the answer is of the first importance.
