- Main Features of an Agile Leader
Theoretically, agile teams do not need an assigned leader. But without any senior manager it is more complicated to develop the product of a high quality with fulfilled customers’ requirements. Leadership promotes productivity and efficiency.
In software testing company, every team has an agile leader who coordinates the work of team members. This person should possess some specific features to provide concerted effort of the team during mobile testing, website testing, automated testing, desktop application testing, etc.
What Is Important for an Agile Leader?
- To keep the Agile Manifesto. It is necessary to be aware of the principles and keynotes of the manifesto. The leader should know what “agile” really means and develop himself not only in the area of software development but also in other different fields.
- While performing either multi-platform testing or acceptance testing, the team should work as a single whole. The agile team overcomes difficulties such as the lack of time and technical challenges. Team members should not struggle with each other. The leader controls that and amplifies the needs of the team.
- The leader makes the team members realize their potential. It can be done by announcing the successful results of produced project and working abilities of the team. It is important not to overpromise on skills and capabilities of the team.
- The consequents of work should be notable. If the team members ask for advice, the leader helps to solve the problems and remove the obstacles. It is necessary for the leader to be useful to the team.
