There are a lot of recommendations and tips to manage the testing process itself. A lot of useful information is available for everyone. But there are some difficulties of managing the team. Not so many principles of successful team building and managing are presented to public access.
In software testing company, it is very important for the specialists to work as a united team. The efforts of every team member should be directed to the common aim. The effective automated testing or manual testing[1] is the result of work of every member of the testing team.
To provide the resultative software testing[2], several facts should be taken into account by the team leads and PMs.
What Are the Core Aspects of the Testing Team?
- The peculiarities of thinking. Testers understand and perceive the software and its properties in their own specific way. They are sure that the product always contains bugs. The testers really like to find errors and strive for a bug-free product development.
- The aim of work. Everyone involved in software development has his own particular purpose and defined tasks. Developers, testers, administrators, business people, etc., should understand the purpose of every step of software development lifecycle. If every step is performed according to the specifications and standards, then the quality of the whole product will be high. Everything is connected and interrelated.
- It is impossible to have everything tested. Nowadays, the systems are very complicated, and much time is needed to check them. But testers cannot control the operation of every unit of the system with the help of performance testing[3] or functional testing. It can be endless process. Other specialists should bear this fact in mind.
The successful and well-timed release is the result of the effective cooperation of every expert engaged in software production.
