Why Should Testers Meditate?

To perform load testing[1], security testing or installation testing[2], a specialist should be very attentive and concentrated. If he misses a serious bug, the client will be disappointed and will never make use of the services of this software testing company.

Why has a tester missed so considerable error? This has happened because of a constant noise in the room. Some specialists can effectively work only in the quiet environment; others do not pay attention to any sounds – noise does not distract them.

What May Divert a Tester?

It is very difficult to concentrate on something when the working place is full of noise and chatter. What to do? How to get through such challenges? Meditation is the way out. It may seem stupid and useless, but meditation really helps to concentrate on needed things.

Before starting mobile testing[3], web software testing or desktop application testing[4], the testing zone should be identified and created. It is a special mental state that helps a tester to concentrate on the tasks. To reach this state, one should meditate for 5-7 minutes before beginning to perform the checking procedure.

Pretty soon, with the help of meditation a tester will stay calm and concentrated even in a very noisy room. So be patient and conduct software testing effectively!
