TechEx 2025: AI in IoT solutions

by Tetyana Lykhitska | October 7, 2025 10:37 am

It’s hard to sum up everything we experienced at TechEx Europe 2025 — the atmosphere, the ideas, the people. The event gave us a clear glimpse into the future of AI and IoT, where these two technologies are working hand in hand to take products to a whole new level. It felt like stepping a few years ahead, and honestly, we’re not quite ready to come back 🤭. We joined TechEx to explore new solutions, talk with teams, gather insights, and see how we can refine our QA approach to stay aligned with market needs. Keep reading to discover the key takeaways we brought back from the event.

Inside the Event: Our TechEx Experience

The atmosphere at TechEx was cozy, welcoming, and almost “chamber-like”. It created the perfect setting for insightful discussions and authentic connections. Networking was everywhere, not only at booths or scheduled meetings but also in quiet corners over coffee, where spontaneous discussions often turned into valuable collaborations.

Our delegation spoke with the other team about their products, company stories, challenges, and ideas. This gave us a clear view of where the market is heading and what its current needs are.

At TechEx 2025, we found ourselves surrounded by an incredible variety of new and exciting solutions. The event brought together around 200 exhibitors, each showcasing fresh ideas, smart solutions, and tools that felt like they were taken straight from the future. Walking through the booths often felt less like a traditional expo and more like a glimpse into what’s ahead. The kind of future where robots might hand your morning coffee (and honestly, we wouldn’t mind that at all 😄).

AI Fuels the Future of IoT

One of the strongest messages from TechEx 2025 was that AI is driving the next stage of IoT development. Companies are rolling out IoT systems that improve accuracy, boost efficiency, and adapt to user needs in ways that weren’t possible before. This shift is turning IoT into what many now call AIoT – solutions that aren’t only connected but also intelligent.

We were truly impressed by the exhibition, which showcased the powerful combination of AI and IoT. Our eyes were truly opened by the wide range of smart solutions across different industries – from environmental monitoring and healthcare to manufacturing and smart city infrastructure. For our team, it was especially valuable to speak directly with the companies and learn more about their products.

What the Industry Talks About Accessibility

Accessibility in IoT was another topic actively discussed at the event. We spoke with other teams about how they ensure their products are accessible to everyone and the challenges they face along the way. From our side, we shared the solutions we offer to help companies test accessibility[3] and make sure their products meet this priority.

Much of the discussion focused on how companies are preparing their products for EAA compliance. To support this, we introduced our quick accessibility check-up[4]. It is a free and simple first step that helps companies quickly assess their products and begin preparing for EAA compliance. For us, presenting this tool was an opportunity to support teams at the very start of their journey toward full compliance.

What About Testing for AIoT?

During the networking, we also shared our expertise in testing IoT[5] and AI products[6]. Checking hardware and validating AI-powered products brings unique complexities that require a specialized approach. At the event, our main mission was to hear about the challenges teams face during this stage and share possible solutions based on our expertise.

The discussions often focused on ensuring all system components work smoothly together, handling AI’s unpredictable behavior, and guaranteeing reliable data exchange between IoT devices. To address these points, we shared our experience in integration[7] and API testing[8], and exchanged insights on how to design a testing approach that meets the unique demands of AI-powered products. This solution will help teams move faster and save money without compromising product quality.

Our Takeaways from the Event

TechEx 2025 was a cozy and welcoming event with countless insightful connections. For us, the real value was in having the chance to meet with other teams and share our testing expertise. Thanks to everyone for the warm conversations. It was great to discuss your products, exchange impressions from the event, and exchange ideas.

These conversations helped us better understand what lies ahead for the industry, the real market challenges, and how testing can truly support innovation. Now we are ready to apply the insights we brought home to make our services even stronger and more impactful.

If you still have questions after our conversation, or if we didn’t get the chance to meet at the event, feel free to contact us[9] anytime. We’ll be happy to continue the conversation with you.

And there will be plenty more opportunities to meet ahead, as we continue our event journey. Our next stops are Valencia Digital Summit and Web Summit. Follow us on LinkedIn[10] to stay updated on our upcoming trips and insights.
