- Problems with Mobile Devices Usage
It is common knowledge that much fewer resources are available on smartphones and tablets than on personal computers.
One may notice performing mobile application testing, desktop testing and web site testing that some problems with mobile devices happen more often than with personal computers. Many of the problems are caused by mobile native and web software products.
Common Troubles During Usage Of Mobile Devices Are:
- overheating of the device;
- too fast battery consumption;
- slowing down of the device operation;
- closing, freezing up or stopping operation of software products on the device.
Any software testing company can confirm that these unpleasant events happen when web or native programs are not entirely fit performance, memory and other capacities of smartphones and tablets and do not comply with mobile technology.
Manual and automated testing of mobile web sites frequently reveals memory leaks. Hallmark of this problem is slowing down of the tested program after functioning for some time. Such behavior may mean that the application does not free the memory after finishing working with it. As a result, the device lacks memory resources for running this and other applications.
That is why memory leaks should be found in course of mobile testing and corrected before release.
