- 5 Reasons to Become a Tester
Software testing is a very complex and sometimes even tiresome process which requires a tester to be stress-resistant and ready to work in certain conditions, deadlines, and ever-evolving technology growth.
Sometimes it seems that the only destination of a tester is to notice errors in code, in other words, to “clean up” the developers. However, that is not right. Manual testing, provided by the QA specialist, is a very responsible procedure – a required stage between the development and release date.
Functional testing, performance control, security, cross-browser, compatibility, alpha and beta testing, load checking – a small list of the obligatory tests which should be executed by an expert in order to ensure the product quality and, hence, meet the wants and needs of the users.
A Person Should Select a Tester’s Job if:
- He really takes enjoyment in his day-to-day activity – bugs detection.
- He is able to look at the system via the end users’ eyes and along with this, remain the specialist in the field.
- The communication with other QA team members (especially, programmers) does not cause difficulties and misunderstandings.
- The “bugs detection” and “quality assurance” are synonyms for him.
- An ability to notice defects and make usability suggestions and troubleshooting tips are favorite amusements.
If all above-mentioned statements are workable, then testing is a great area to fulfil one’s potential and find the job after one’s own heart.
