In-house mobile application testing is one of unproductive methods of software testing. Why is it so? What is the principle of its work?

Such kind of mobile testing can be executed by QA managers and developers. They have possibility to observe straight from the stable how the application works. And their team consists of the best testers from the whole world and they have at their disposal hundreds of different handset models. It is the largest testing laboratory, larger than any software testing company. But still it is a dream that will never come true.

So why cannot it work effectively?

Who can know the answer to this question? In fact such kind of mobile application testing could be possible only in ideal world.

In-house testing is relatively expensive and requires a lot of time. Mobile applications are produced all over the world and it would be very uncomfortable for testers to go all over the world to assure quality of all applications. So it is better not to rely on in-house testing and waste your time and money but use the services of software testing company.

Some mobile application companies create such in-house teams to perform mobile application testing. They have several in-house testers but they have at their disposal just several handset models. Of course it is not enough to ensure qualitative mobile testing.

So it will be much better to perform mobile software testing at software testing company where software testing team will assure the quality of mobile application.
